Wooden Fort
This fort was made from 12mm plywood, glued, nailed and finished with "child safe" varnish
The portcullis has a functional drawbridge manually controlled from the tower.
The fort won first prize in a local craft fayre.
Toy Garage
This garage was made from 12mm plywood, glued, nailed and finished with "toysafe" paint & varnish.
2 young clients now have a place to park their cars.
Articulated Snake
This snake is made from pine and finished with "toy safe" varnish.
The shape of the snake was created on the lathe. The head and tail were shaped by hand and the articulated body created using the bandsaw with bias binding glued through the middle to allow the articulation.
Sword & Shield
This sword was made from reclaimed pallet wood, and the shield from the side of an old pine wardrobe.
The emblems were cut from 5mm plywood and sprayed with colour paint.
The project was finished in "child safe" varnish.
Cribbage Board
This cribbage board was designed in Photoshop and Vectric Aspire.
The board is made from oak, the holes drilled using the CNC router.
The project was finished with 3 coats of indoor varnish.
Darts Holder
This darts holder was made from a single piece of oak.
The darts can be stored without having to remove the flights.
